Tonight Kim Russell of dVerse Poets suggests that we linger poetically with one of the elements: Earth, Fire, Water, Air or Ether. As I (or we) have a tendency to poly-ele-mental-ity, I ended up feaaturing three (earth, fire and ether) of the five elements and giving a passing role to the other two, air and water.
Elemental:
earth, fire, ether,
with attendant air-water froth
I race across the thrift-specked sand
my feet toe-curling in the turf;
brave multitudes where'er I stand
and bubbled foam-slicks on the surf
The Sun is glorious in its stance
its generosity is real
and in the rainbows, sunbeams dance
as we rotate the Compass Wheel
I long to be "with All The Things",
a Pan-oplied ethereal light
the Multiverse of She Who Sings
as Triple Goddess: "Lo, the Bride".

I enjoyed your combination of earth, fire and ether, Kathy, and the ‘attendant air-water froth’! I love the phrases ‘thrift-specked sand’ and ‘bubbled foam-slicks on the surf’.

Thank you Kim! Those thrifty specks and foamy froths were my favourite Earth-huggers and Air/Water admixtures too. A fun prompt allowing Dark& magical or Light& real xxx

Love the way the elements combine… just like everything we need opposites to create a great synthesis.

Kathy, I love this! The way you bring all the elements together and “a Pan-oplied ethereal light
the Multiverse of She Who Sings
as Triple Goddess: “Lo, the Bride” is spectacular.

Punam I’m always lifted up by your appreciative comments! Thank you my dear friend. I wrote this in a hurry as a sort of rescue plea to the goddess/saint Brighid and I’m glad she touched you too.
